Nacka District Court handles criminal cases, civil cases, family law cases, bankruptcies, and enforcement matters. The enforcement operations at Nacka District Court are the largest in the country. The court is also one of the five environmental courts in Sweden.

Currently, about 155 people work at the court. We are located in modern premises in Sickla with good communication to central Stockholm.

If you want to develop as a lawyer and specialize in enforcement and property law, we can offer a varied and developing job as a preparation lawyer. We are now looking for one or more preparation lawyers for the enforcement operations.

Job Responsibilities

As a preparation lawyer, you primarily work on preparing cases that have been appealed from the Enforcement Authority. Your tasks include, among other things:

  • Conducting legal investigations
  • Presenting cases for decision
  • Writing proposals for decisions
  • Taking minutes at meetings

The enforcement cases are prepared by preparation lawyers and clerks. The work is independent but takes place in close collaboration with the court's judges and court administrators.

In addition to handling enforcement cases, you are also expected to contribute to developing and streamlining operations. Your tasks also include training new employees and providing support to the clerks. Depending on the needs of the operations, your experience, and your interests, you may also have the opportunity to assist in the preparation of civil cases and serve as a judge in petty crime cases, bankruptcies, and FT cases.

Qualifications

To work as a preparation lawyer, you must be a qualified clerk. Experience in enforcement or property law, as well as work at the Enforcement Authority, can be advantageous.

The work requires that you are meticulous and result-oriented. It also requires that you can work independently while being able to collaborate easily with colleagues. You must also be flexible and have a good ability to express yourself both verbally and in writing.

Great emphasis will be placed on your personal qualities.

To be considered for employment, you must also meet high standards regarding judgment, security awareness, and suitability. This means that you uphold democratic values and the governmental values that guide the operations of the Swedish Courts. We require that you comply with applicable laws.

The court also wants to utilize the qualifications that a balanced gender distribution and ethnic and cultural diversity bring to the operations.

Employment Scope

Permanent employment with a six-month probationary period. Start date as soon as possible.
